Chief Bill Johnson has been appointed as the new Director of Public Safety. Chief Johnson has served over 23 years with the City of Kinston. Chief Johnson is a sworn law enforcement officer and prior to his appointment, served as the Assistant Chief of the Fire and Rescue Division.
